Sunday 17th May, 2009 was a busy day for EmFSus members. First the Climate Change rally at St Kilda Beach, followed by the container deposit rally at the steps of Parliament House in the afternoon.
A very peaceful demonstration outside the office of Finance Minister Mr Lindsay Tanner. We were there protesting the CPRS, David Spratt spoke to the crowd, we chanted and danced. We wrote a letter to Mr Tanner, which has not been answered. The demonstration was reported as being violent. Unbelievable!
The Sustainable House Tour to Knoxfield on Sunday 17 Aug was a terrific afternoon of inspiration. This was a combined activity by DRREA (Dandenong Ranges Renewable Energy Assoc) & EmFSus – an enjoyable time was had by those that attended. |

Climate Emergency Rally held 5 July, at City Square was attended by some members from EmFSus. We then moved to Alexandra Gardens where we formed part of the human sign – we were part of the first ‘E’ in EMERGENCY! We chose the ‘E’ for Emerald! |
